This isn't dystopian. Or maybe it is. But it's also just... true. And weirdly honest.
Most marketing manipulates you and pretends it isn't. This marketing is manipulating you and telling you exactly how. You're still here. That's the most interesting part.
Knowing you're being manipulated doesn't stop the manipulation. It just makes you a more informed participant in it. Congratulations. You're a self-aware viral corpus.
The word is unreplug. It means to unplug something and plug it back in.
